Speaking

Contributions

I speak at conferences, workshops, and online summits where people are asking:

What becomes possible when we genuinely include Nature's voice in shared decision-making - in our work, our research, our governance, and in our daily lives?

My talks explore the intersection of intuitive interspecies communication, collaborative decision-making, and systems change: grounded in real-world application, ethical rigour, and the lived experience of working across species and disciplines.

What I Speak About

Core themes include:

  • Bringing interspecies communication into professional contexts - how IIC practitioners, scientists, conservationists, and policy-makers can collaborate to make space for Nature's voice in systems that don't yet recognise it

  • Collaborative decision-making across species - what it looks like to genuinely include the living world in decisions that affect them, and the frameworks that make this possible

  • Ethics and consent in interspecies work - navigating questions of agency, power, and reciprocity when humans are facilitating communication with other species and ecosystems

  • Translating intuitive knowing into institutional language - how to bring what you're receiving from the more-than-human into contexts that require empirical rigour without losing integrity

  • Building bridges between disciplines - how IIC practitioners and scientists can work together productively, honouring different epistemologies without one dominating

  • The role of IIC in conservation, research, and land stewardship - real-world applications where interspecies intelligence has informed habitat restoration, species protection, or ecosystem management

Who I Speak To

Interdisciplinary audiences - at conferences exploring the intersection of ecology, consciousness, and systems change

Conservation and rewilding networks - interested in how interspecies communication can inform land stewardship and species protection

Academic and research communities - navigating the integration of intuitive methodologies with empirical science

Animal care organisations (sanctuaries, rehabilitation centres) - exploring relational approaches to welfare and decision-making

IIC practitioner gatherings - where the field itself is being refined, deepened, and professionalised

Policy and governance bodies - considering how to include other-than-human perspectives in frameworks and decisions

Speaking Formats

Keynote talks - exploring a specific theme with depth and nuance

Panel participation - where interspecies communication intersects with other disciplines or perspectives

Workshops - where participants engage directly with the concepts through inquiry, case studies, or facilitated dialogue

Facilitated conversations - bringing diverse stakeholders together to explore questions, perspectives, and possibilities across disciplines

All sessions can be tailored to your audience, context, and specific questions. I work remotely via Zoom and can accommodate different time zones.

Ocean Voices: A Journey into Intuitive Interspecies Communication
Organization of Nature Evolutionaries (ONE) (November 2025)
With Dr. Lynne Shannon (Principal Researcher, Marine Sustainability group, Department of Biological Sciences, and Deputy Director, Marine and Antarctic Research Centre for Innovation and Sustainability, University of Cape Town), Wynter Worsthorne (Animaltalk Africa), and Eleni Gkikakis (Interspecies Peace)

A unique two-hour webinar-workshop where the Ocean Voices team (intuitive interspecies communicators collaborating with marine scientists and researchers) shares how this ground-breaking initiative began and how it is transforming the way we listen to and engage with the Ocean.

Exploring Intuitive Interspecies Communication for Eco-Centric Change
The Council of Outdoor Educators of Ontario (COEO) (January 2026)
With M.J. Barrett (PhD), Adjunct Professor, School of Environment and Sustainability, University of Saskatchewan

Did you ever wonder if you could communicate with other animals? Or Plants? This workshop brings together the perspectives of an experienced intuitive interspecies communication (IIC) practitioner and an academic researcher. Both ancient and contemporary, IIC refers to the experience of two-way communication between humans and other species. Through stories, research, and an experiential exercise, we explore what IIC is, and is not, and how it shows up for students and what might nourish their skills.

Intuitive Interspecies Communication and its Role in Conservation
Alkhemical Dreaming (January 2026)
With Eleni Gkikakis (Interspecies Peace), Cathrine S. Nyquist (Panthera Africa Big Cat Sanctuary), and Clara Nisiri (host)

How listening to the more-than-human reshapes conservation, healing, and our relationship with Earth. A powerful conversation exploring the practical and philosophical implications of bringing IIC into conservation contexts.

Nature’s Voice in the Rights of Nature
Global Alliance for the Rights of Nature (GARN Youth Hub) (September 2024)
With Wynter Worsthorne (Animaltalk Africa) and Eleni Gkikakis (Interspecies Peace)
(Passcode: v$fd$5Rh)

An introductory, experiential 90-minute webinar exploring Intuitive Interspecies Communication (IIC), the HEART method, and initiatives giving voice to the natural world while creating positive transformation with the guidance of Nature.
