I work with organisations, initiatives, and interdisciplinary teams to foster interspecies collaboration and inform shared approaches to decision-making.

These collaborations bring together diverse professionals - academics, scientists, animal care organisations, conservationists, land stewards, lawyers, legal advocates, and intuitive interspecies communication (IIC) colleagues - to explore more inclusive, relational, and responsive ways of working with other animals, wildlife, and all of Nature.

What Collaboration Looks Like

Every collaboration is different, shaped by the specific context, questions, and beings involved. The core work is consistent: creating the conditions where Nature's voice can be heard, and where those voices can inform decisions.

This might look like:

  • Facilitating interspecies communication within conservation or research projects - translating what other species and ecosystems are communicating into language and frameworks that teams can work with

  • Co-designing decision-making processes that include other-than-human perspectives - whether in land stewardship, rewilding initiatives, or organisational governance

  • Supporting interdisciplinary teams navigating the intersection of intuitive knowing and empirical methodologies - building bridges between IIC practitioners and scientists, veterinarians, conservationists, or policy-makers

  • Advising on ethical frameworks for interspecies collaboration - exploring questions of consent, agency, and reciprocity in contexts where other animals or ecosystems are directly affected by human decisions

  • Consulting with legal teams and advocates - bringing interspecies perspectives into animal rights cases, Rights of Nature litigation, or policy development, so that legal strategy centres the voices of those being advocated for

  • Convening dialogue between stakeholders with different ways of knowing - creating space for productive tension, mutual learning, and emergent solutions

Who I Work With

I collaborate with:

  • Conservation organisations and initiatives - exploring how interspecies communication can inform habitat restoration, species protection, or ecosystem management

  • Research teams - integrating IIC into studies involving other animals, Plants, or Land - particularly where questions of welfare, consent, or relational ethics arise

  • Animal care organisations (sanctuaries, rehabilitation centres) - seeking to deepen their understanding of the beings in their care and make decisions that honour those beings' perspectives

  • Land stewardship and rewilding projects - where the Land itself has intelligence to offer about what it needs

  • Lawyers and legal advocates - working in animal rights, Rights of Nature, or environmental law, seeking to include the voices of those they're advocating for in legal strategy, policy development, or litigation

  • Policy and governance bodies - exploring how to include other-than-human voices in decision-making frameworks

  • Interdisciplinary networks and global initiatives - advancing the field of interspecies communication and collaborative governance

    Giving Animals Voice

    BOARD MEMBER

    A non-profit organisation founded in 2021 providing animals in shelters, rescues, and sanctuaries with access to animal communication services.

    Giving Animals Voice bridges the gap between animal care organisations and intuitive interspecies communication practitioners, ensuring that animals in care have their voices heard.

    Nature's Council

    FOUNDING MEMBER

    A group of practitioners, researchers, and activists working in intuitive communication with Nature, serving as an advisory council to organisations, groups, and initiatives seeking direct counsel from Nature.

    Ocean Voices & Ocean Transformation Programme

    CORE TEAM MEMBER

    A collaborative initiative exploring connections between natural science and intuitive interspecies communication to inform decision-making with the Ocean and ocean beings.

    Academic participants span the specialised fields of marine science, fisheries, social science, environmental science/geography, environmental law, and business management.

    Led by Dr. Lynne Shannon, Principal Researcher and head of the Marine Sustainability Lab at the University of Cape Town.

All collaborations are built on:

  • Consent - from human and other-than-human participants

  • Confidentiality - respecting the sensitivity of the work and the beings involved

  • Reciprocity - ensuring the collaboration serves all parties, not just human agendas

  • Transparency - clear agreements about scope, expectations, and how interspecies intelligence will be integrated
