This Work Deepens Through Dialogue

In 2027, two different online Roundtables are planned - one for intuitive interspecies communication (IIC) practitioners and students, and another for interdisciplinary professionals to gather, process, and refine the practice of including Nature's voice in collaborative decision-making.

These are not teaching programmes. They are working spaces for people already engaged in this terrain - whether professionally, academically, or through lived practice.

My role is to convene and hold the space, not to teach or provide all the answers. I'll bring questions, facilitate the conversation, and help create the conditions for different perspectives - including Nature's - to be heard and explored together.

IIC Roundtable - For Practitioners and Students

This Roundtable is for people actively engaged in intuitive interspecies communication (IIC) who are navigating the practice in collaborative, interdisciplinary, or professional settings.

Together, we'll explore what it means to bring this work into the world:

  • How do we respond to what Nature is asking of us?

  • How do we bring IIC into collaborative, interdisciplinary, and professional contexts?

  • How do we navigate the questions, challenges, and opportunities that arise when we step beyond individual practice and into wider systems?

    Along the way, we may explore questions such as:

  • How do we hold what we're hearing when others in the room aren't IIC practitioners?

  • What does it mean to genuinely include Nature's voice in decisions that affect the living world?

  • How do we introduce IIC to people, professions, and fields that may be unfamiliar with it?

In the IIC Roundtable, we come together as practitioners and students, learning from our lived experience and from one another. This work can be isolating. We need spaces where we don't have to explain ourselves, just work through what's real.

Interdisciplinary Roundtable - For Professionals and Teams

This Roundtable is for people working in conservation, research, land stewardship, governance, policy, or animal care who are exploring how to include Nature's voice in collaborative decision-making.

You may be part of a team that's curious about integrating IIC into your work. You may be an individual advocating for this approach within your organisation or field. You may already practise IIC alongside another professional discipline. Or you may be building something new that doesn't yet have a name.

Together, we'll explore what becomes possible when Nature's voice is genuinely included in collaborative work.

The Interdisciplinary Roundtable is a space to work through the structural, relational, and methodological questions that arise when IIC enters collaborative contexts - not simply as theory, but as lived practice.

We may explore questions such as:

  • How do we create conditions where Nature's voices can genuinely inform collaborative work?

  • What does it mean to include IIC in decision-making processes that also require empirical data, legal frameworks, or organisational accountability?

  • How do we navigate different ways of knowing without one dominating the others?

  • What structural shifts are needed to make space for interspecies collaboration in systems that weren't designed for it?

This isn't about advocating for IIC over other approaches. It's about learning to work with IIC as a valid source of insight within a broader collaborative process.

Nature Has a Seat at the Table

Both Roundtables will include Nature's voices as active participants: not as the subject of conversation, as living presences who shape the questions, the process, and the path forward.

How this takes form will evolve organically: shaped by the questions that emerge, what Nature asks of us, and what unfolds through our shared participation. It may include:

  • Opening each session by inviting Nature's guidance on what wants to be explored

  • Pausing mid-conversation to ask Nature what's needed

  • Bringing forward our questions to Nature and listening for responses

  • Allowing Nature to shape the structure, timing, and focus of our work together

This is not a method to be taught. It's a practice we'll explore together: one that honours the premise at the heart of this work. Nature is not simply here to be consulted. Nature is here to participate.

How These Roundtables Will Take Form

The first gathering of each Roundtable will be a pilot: an opportunity to explore together what structure, timing, and rhythm best serve the work.

These Roundtables are designed for a global community. Timing will be shaped with consideration for different time zones. Exchange will honour both accessibility and the value of the work.

This is not a fixed programme. It's a living process, shaped by what emerges through our shared participation.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The first pilot gatherings are planned for early 2027. Once there is enough interest to form a Roundtable, I’ll invite those who are interested to a Meet & Greet. This will be a chance to meet one another and finalise the pilot.

  • Frequency, length, time zones, and exchange will be determined based on what the people who gather need and what the work itself asks for. Before the pilot begins, I’ll send a brief survey asking about your availability and preferred rhythm.

  • The Roundtables are designed around live participation and real-time dialogue, so attending live is encouraged. If you’re unable to attend a particular gathering, please let me know. We’ll explore what’s possible as the pilot takes shape.

  • I’ll offer exchange options that honour both accessibility and the value of the work. These may include donation-based participation.

  • Yes, if both are relevant to your work and experience. The Interdisciplinary Roundtable is specifically for people working in professional, institutional, or collaborative contexts, whether or not you practise intuitive interspecies communication (IIC). The IIC Roundtable is for practitioners and students navigating the practice of IIC, including in collaborative, interdisciplinary, or professional settings.

  • Yes, though not initially. Once each Roundtable has found its rhythm, there may be joint sessions where the two groups come together for shared learning and Q&A.
